This website sets no cookies and builds no user profiles. We only process personal data when you load a page, for cookieless audience measurement, and when you contact us.

Hosting and server logs
The website is served by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Loading a page processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer and browser identifier.

Audience measurement (Vercel Web Analytics)
We measure page views in aggregate with Vercel Web Analytics. The service sets no cookies. Visits are distinguished by a hash of request data that is discarded after 24 hours. It records the page viewed, referrer, country, device type, operating system and browser.

Contact by email
If you write to fabio@comptra.org, we process your address and message in order to reply. Messages are stored in the mailbox of our email provider. Legal basis and retention match the contact form.
Demos and console
The live feed, the policy playground and the console at /console run entirely in your browser. Your input is not sent to us. The console keeps demo data in your browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) so the demo survives a reload. You can delete it with the console's reset function or in your browser settings. This storage is technically necessary for the function you requested (§ 165 (3) TKG 2021).
Fonts and external links
All fonts are served from this domain. No connection is made to Google or other font providers. Links to GitHub only take effect when you click them, at which point GitHub's privacy policy applies.
Recipients
Your data is only received by the providers named above (Vercel, Formspree and our email provider) as processors under Art. 28 GDPR. There is no further disclosure, no sale of data and no automated decision-making, including profiling.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, write to fabio@comptra.org.
